Privathotels Dr. Lohbeck offers its employees numerous opportunities for professional development and covers up to 100% of the costs. The courses are organized jointly with external educational institutions such as the German Hotel Academy, chambers of industry and commerce, adult education centers and other educational institutions. Cooperation partners also include, for example, the École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the oldest and most renowned hotel management school in Europe, and Cornell University in New York / USA. Privathotels Dr. Lohbeck is thus setting a new standard in the industry, as no other German hotel group offers a similarly comprehensive range of further training courses.

Hotel Oversum is located in the middle of Winterberg’s extensive spa park and is known, among other things, for its exceptionally futuristic design. The Ski & Vital Resort has the shape of a giant egg and offers you an impressive view over the “thousand mountains” of the Sauerland from large window fronts.

WHAT DOES IT OFFER ME?
Winterberg with its approximately 12,000 inhabitants is located in the southeast of North Rhine-Westphalia at the eastern foothills of the Rothaar Mountains. Due to the location at 640m a.s.l. NHN the name of the city does not come by chance. Therefore, Winterberg is known for skiing and bobsleighing. In addition to the bobsleigh run and the ski jump, several ski resorts with different slopes and toboggan runs extend around the village. But also in the summer months Winterberg stands out with its diverse range of leisure activities. Bikers and hikers get their money’s worth here. Down the mountains you go on the bike trails, the summer toboggan run or extreme and wild on one of the ziplines. There is also a lot of life in the city in the evening with a high density of bars, pubs, restaurants and clubs. And, Winterberg is very centrally located between the Ruhr area, Frankfurt and Kassel.
