Welcome to the birthday party! Lord Ashtonburry, wealthy landlord at Darkwood Castle – a venerable manor house in Scotland – celebrates his 60th birthday.

In the circle of his family and supported by the members of the pudding club, an association for the preservation of Scottish customs, will celebrate and serve an exquisite 4-course meal. Friends, companions of past times, everything that has rank and name, finds itself together to celebrate this jubilee.

But a dark shadow from the past wants revenge and puts a terrible curse on Lord Ashtonburry. Will the curse come true? What victims does the dark shadow claim? Dinner guests are invited to help with the investigation as guests of the Ashtonburry family.
